The Lake Inle Danio is a highly active, peaceful schooling fish endemic to Lake Inle and its surrounding waters in Myanmar. These fish are considered endangered due to rapid changes in Lake Inle's ecosystem. They are known for their silvery-blue bodies and golden accents, and thrive in planted aquariums with hard water. A 29 gallon aquarium will provide them with enough swimming room, but a 40 gallon would be best. They can reach 2-3 inches as an adult.
